IrDA Framework

IrDA Framework is the Software Developer Kit (SDK) that provides an easy access to the IrDA communication on Windows platforms. The Framework is a part of the Wireless Communication Library but can be used as a stand alone library. The full Framework's features list can be found below. The Framework has three editions:

• .NET Edition is an IrDA .NET assembly written in C# that can be used with Microsoft .NET, Python and Unity.
• C++ Edition is an IrDA C++ library written in C++ and can be used with Microsoft Visual Studio or other compatible compiler.
• VCL Edition is a collection of IrDA VCL components written in Delphi that can be used with Embarcadero RAD Studio (Delphi and CBuilder) and Lazarus (FreePascal).

• OBEX Object Push Profile (OPP) Client
• OBEX File Transfer Profile (FTP) Client
• Basic OBEX server
• OBEX Object Push Profile (OPP) Server

IrDA Framework demo version can be downloaded as executable installer (EXE link) or as 7Zip archive (ZIP link). The executable installer is not signed so you may see Windows warning when running the installer. To avoid this you can use 7Zip packed version. Demo version limitations

• Nag-screen appears when you start and stop using the IrDA Framework;
• You can not use demo version for developing free or commercial applications;
• You can not use demo version for developing applications for your own needs;
• The demo version is for trial use only.
